To Vegas and Back
Alas, the land of mock trial has ended for the year. My team competed in one of the regional tournaments in Las Vegas this weekend. Note: our time was spent in the Las Vegas courtroom, not on the strip. We ended up winning the first two trials and losing the third. Consequently, we didn't make it to the semi-final round, but our other UCLA team did make it and won the whole thing! Which means, they get to go to Florida to compete in the national championship, while I, get to enjoy my spring break (the championship falls during spring break). Anyway, mock trial was fun while it lasted, but I'm sure glad it's over for now...

kinda sounds like a win-win! ;) you still get spring break (when is that? are you coming home?)
i got your message yesterday but didnt have a chance to call back (we were in LA trying to stalk the Oscars, and it was a little tense trying to navigate around) then I ended up going straight to the airport and home.
but guess what?!?! i saw a celebrity! 2 actually... :)
